International Symposium on Relations between Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysis

ISHHC18

The International Symposium on Relations between Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Catalysis (ISHHC) has a long and distinguished history. The first symposium was organised in 1974 by Bernard Delmon in Brussels, with the next 16 events oscillating between Europe and the USA with 2 forays to Japan prior to the current event planned for Sydney, Australia in 2018.

The original concept of the symposium was to address the relationships between homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis. This has evolved to an even more united vision that now includes biocatalysis – a move driven by the many commonalities between the fields and a hope that united an even greater impact of catalysis as a means to address global challenges can be achieved. The key objective is to bring the three communities together in a creative environment, where all can learn from and be inspired by each other’s dreams, successes and breakthroughs.

The Sydney event is the first to be held in the Southern Hemisphere and the organising committee is determined to present a memorable symposium. The program will cover the following topics:-
